As we head towards the end of yet another year ensure you take time to reflect on all your hard work.  Without reflection we as Support Staff can not move on and work smarter with our next journey.  Take the time too, to share with your colleagues the good times you have had.  All the best for the rest of the term.

I was very upset to read that with Support Staff being reduced in our Schools, students may take up some of the work.Well don't all staff have to be Police checked before they work in a school .Are students going to be Police checked? Are the at "risk students "going to be working closely with at "risk students". I have worked at a Teacher Aide for 12 years. Now that the ratification is over, we need to start letting NZEI what WE want to see happen.
