Good to know that this is happening after we made a limited but concerted amount of fuss!!It really makes me glad I'm in a union and I do waver sometimes - , especially as 6 other library staff I know on the North Shore have either lost their jobs or their hours have been cut so severely that they may as well have lost them.Keep up the good work Negotiation team despite it being too late for some people - and some of them had very limited hours - between 6 and 12 - couldn't really afford to be…See More

Absolutely! The newsletter to us this morning was very well worded. There's a lot of confused thinking in the National Party - they barely know what they are doing - more email pressure would be ideal.

Labour Party MPs visit to Sunnynook School

While this was a very positive visit and we are glad the MPs took the time to listen patiently to us, it is just the start of the journey in informing MPs and others about our needs and job conditions.They appeared to know part of the picture so I would urge everyone to keep sending messages, getting questions asked of the Minister - preferably in the House- and planning further action.Seemed to me that canning Community Education/Night classes is a catchier issue and easier for everyone to…See More
