teachers vrs teacheraides

hi guys very interesting disscusion with nephew teacher / d.p. relieving principal tonitie. has no understanding re teacher aides at all. whew heavy discussion re us and our position tonite BUT I won I reckon cause he said Im going to bed. !!! bit difficult when staying at his house ut boy oh boy whew deep discussion. . I let him have it the rights of teacher aides. no idea! wish I had my support staff contact with me . but we are pink wave !!!

Queen st March Support Staff

Wow what a day early start drive to Palmerston North fly to Auckland .arrive in Queen Street. Get together sort out flags banners etc and the March is on. What an experience .Amazing what a great group united together. . Okay Im back home tonite In Wanganui approx 8.45p.m knackered but it was well worth the journey. Yes support staff attend your PUMs!! Very important. Pleae dont think oh so and so from my school are going They can tell me what happens . NO! No! attend yourself take along a support staff NZEI member with you. Talk to your support staff remind them about PUMS in your area. ome on get 100% attendance !!! Check out your notice boards check with your worksite rep .

annual meeting

really enjoyed annual meeting on weekend. seating was good could see stage etc . maybe could have had Leaners" sorted better had bit of trouble getting mine into stand as was full of rubbish. and couldnt get it down far enough .

But discussions all good. rally fun. .food great. great to catch up with everyone again

Support Staff Day 16th June

Wanganui Branch is holding a dinner this year. We other years have had breakfast but decided on a change to cater for Support staff that have had problems getting out at 7 a.m We are holding the dinner at Carolines Celtic having it as a celebration for Support staff and also as a mid year Xmas theme . exchanging small gifts having hot ham and Chicken dish, three veges new potatoes salads , and finish with pavlova and fruit salad. all at a very reasonable cost of $25 per head. will be a fun… Continue

Thank you to Michelle ,Pam , and Sue for a very well presented seminar on Wednesday held at Bulls .

Very informative all given time to ask questions which we did!. everyone very friendly . Came away informed well fed . and good information to take back to my worksite.
