Settlement of Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement (SSCA)

A huge campaign by support staff members and the wider union has finally resulted in a settlement of the support staff collective agreement. The key points of the proposed settlement are:A significant move on the minimum pay for support staffFrom 27 January 2010, the bottom step in Grade A for both Administrative and Associate will be $14.00 with the next step being $14.62. NZEI Submission re Canges to the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment Bill - (ACC)

Following recent announcements from the Government around proposed changes to ACC, NZEI Te Riu Roa have prepared a Submission to the Transport and Industrial Relations Select Committee on the proposed changes. There are significant implications for Support Staff members if the proposed changes come into effect.
