Hello everyone
Just wanted to wish you all a wonderful welcome back to the new year. I hope you managed some rest and relaxation over the Christmas break. I realise some of you have been back for a while and I trust you will get a chance for a wee holiday in the near future.
Of course the big thing now is to vote on the proposed settlement. The documentation should already be in sites - but I know that as many staff will have only just got back recently - you may have to double check with your site rep that they have opened and distributed the ballot forms. If you are short a voting paper - please contact our NZEI 0800 693 443 number.
As only NZEI members can vote - there should be enough forms per site for those people (but being a new year - people may have moved around).
Your ballots MUST be in by 12:00 noon on Friday 12th Feb. The ballot form can be posted (address on back of form) or faxed (number on form).
So we look forward to seeing them all flood in over the next 9 days. Take care and enjoy the new year - you all worked so hard in 2009 - so take a big breathe - congratulate yourselves, and have fun!! Tanya
